Burden opened MNF with a TD — here’s the Bears lane in CSL’s 2026 Topps Flagship Football
After Burden’s opening touchdown at Soldier Field, do you want to feel the Bears spot?
Opened Monday night with a TD
Luther Burden III opened Monday Night Football with a touchdown, and Chicago’s weapons kept eating from there. If you play Chrome Spot Lab’s football break, that’s the night that makes the Chicago Bears spot the one you’d want to claim.
At Soldier Field, the Bears beat the Eagles 27–7. The first drive went 11 plays, 66 yards, and ended on third-and-2 with a Case Keenum shovel pass to Burden, who broke a tackle, kept his legs churning through the pile, and pushed in from 8 yards out. Burden finished with 7 catches for 61 yards and the TD, plus a 7-yard run. Both teams are now 2–1.
That’s the decision: after a night when Chicago’s young pass catchers ate with the backup under center, do you want that Bears spot on the board?
Why the Bears spot
On CSL’s 2026 Topps Flagship Football Hobby break, you claim NFL team spots and run a modeled paper rip. The Bears spot puts you on Burden, Rome Odunze, Colston Loveland and D’Andre Swift when the break runs, with base grind, Golden Mirror chase energy and vet-auto ink on the same board.
It also still holds the franchise card. Caleb Williams didn’t play Monday (hamstring injury), but his base, Golden Mirror and vet-auto rows all sit on the Bears spot. A night like this is the reason the spot isn’t only a Williams bet.
You’re not buying a sealed Hobby case. You’re picking the club you’d want to root for after that Monday.
Proof under the feel (checklist footprint)
In CSL’s Flagship Football spine (official Topps checklist → normalized set data + live values book), the Bears core lands like this:
Supporting color on the same spot: Colston Loveland (base / GM #270) and D’Andre Swift (base / GM / vet_auto #37). No dollar comps here. Published values for this set are still YELLOW / unpublished floor lanes, so read this as chase energy only, not a solds forecast.
Context under the feel
Keenum made the start with Williams out. It was his first regular-season action since 2023, and he went 24-of-34 for 247 yards, two TDs and no interceptions (110.8 rating), then added a 1-yard TD run with 7:19 left. He isn’t on the Flagship checklist, so he’s game story here, not a card.
The rest of the pass game spread out. Kalif Raymond had the other big score, a 41-yard TD in the third quarter on a 6-catch, 90-yard night (also not on the checklist). Loveland caught 4 for 31 and had an apparent 6-yard TD overturned to the 1 on review. Odunze caught 3 for 44. Swift carried 20 times for 84 yards.
The defense forced three takeaways and held Philadelphia to 248 total yards. Jalen Hurts finished 16-of-25 for 153 yards, no TD passes and one interception. The claim stays Burden (+ Odunze, Loveland, Williams) → Bears lane.
Practice the Bears claim on CSL once
Chrome Spot Lab is a free one-player paper-break simulator. You claim spots with CSL Points (~$1 ballpark modeled fair value when floors land), run the break, and settle against /values. No real money, no prizes.
Physical 2026 Topps Flagship Football Hobby wax ≠ the CSL simulator. This set is Hobby-only on CSL (no Breaker’s Delight lane for football), 32 NFL spots, model flagship_football_hobby_v1, play break tff26-hobby-12. Paper rip, not a sealed hobby case. Play: /play.
Came for Burden’s MNF opener: claim Bears. Came to feel a team-spot Hobby rip without the wax tax: that’s the board.
