D'Andre Swift's three-TD Monday, and why the Bears are the deep spot on 2026 Topps Flagship Football
D'Andre Swift ground out 27 carries and three short touchdowns as the Bears beat the Seahawks 34-17 on Monday night. On Chrome Spot Lab's Hobby-only 2026 Topps Flagship Football paper rip, Swift is Bears vet auto #37, one of six on a deep Chicago sheet.
Lead
D'Andre Swift didn't break one long run Monday night. He just kept getting the ball. 27 carries, 69 yards, three touchdowns, from 1, 5 and 5 yards out, as the Bears beat the Seahawks 34-17 at Lumen Field (ChicagoBears.com, AP).
Chicago carried a 20-9 lead into the fourth quarter, built partly on Swift's 1-yard run. Then Seattle cut it to 20-17 with a 7-yard Sam Darnold touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp and a two-point try. The Bears answered with 14 straight. Swift's 5-yarder made it 27-17 with 8:28 left. After Austin Booker tipped a Darnold pass and James Lynch picked it off, Swift punched in another 5-yarder for 34-17 with 4:41 to play (ChicagoBears.com, AP).
"Swifty ran super hard," Ben Johnson said. "I know that he didn't have a ton of yards, but 27 attempts and three touchdowns, every single yard was earned by him. Those were hard yards to come by." (ChicagoBears.com)
Swift had help. Caleb Williams went 24 of 34 for 247 yards and a touchdown with no turnovers. His touchdown was a 1-yard throw to Luther Burden III that capped a 17-play, 80-yard opening drive. Burden finished with 7 catches for 56 yards, and Rome Odunze led the team with 87 yards on 4 catches. Montez Sweat had a sack (ChicagoBears.com, AP). The Bears are 6-2, the Seahawks 4-4.
"We got beat. No other way to sugar coat it," Mike Macdonald said (AP).
Now the card side. Claim the Bears in Flagship Football and Swift is one of six vet autos you're hoping for: vet auto #37.
Why the Bears spot
On CSL's 2026 Topps Flagship Football Hobby break (tff26-hobby-12), you claim one of 32 NFL team spots and run a modeled paper rip. The Bears sheet is built for a long night. It has 9 hits: 6 vet autos, 1 Flagship First auto and 2 relics. Five of the six vet-auto names were in Monday's box score: Swift, Burden, Williams, Odunze and Sweat. If one auto misses, there are still five other names who all did something Monday.
The defensive name everyone talked about isn't a Bears card. Jeffery Simmons had a sack in his Bears debut after coming over from Tennessee (AP). On the checklist he's only a Tennessee Titans base card, #257, so a Bears spot gets nothing from him.
Proof under the feel (Bears hit rows)
Card numbers come straight from CSL's normalized Flagship Football checklist (built from the Topps checklist):
| Player · Chicago Bears | Hit rows in this rip | Monday (source) |
|---|---|---|
| D'Andre Swift | vet auto #37 | 27 carries, 69 yds, 3 rush TD (1, 5, 5) (ChicagoBears.com, AP) |
| Luther Burden III | vet auto #34, relic | 7 catches, 56 yds, 1-yd TD (ChicagoBears.com) |
| Caleb Williams | vet auto #35 | 24/34, 247 yds, 1 TD, no turnovers (ChicagoBears.com, AP) |
| Rome Odunze | vet auto #32 | 4 catches, team-high 87 yds (ChicagoBears.com) |
| Montez Sweat | vet auto #212 | 1.0 sack (ChicagoBears.com) |
| Kyle Monangai | vet auto #33 | — |
| Colston Loveland | relic (base #270) | 7 catches, 65 yds (ChicagoBears.com) |
| Zavion Thomas | Flagship First auto (Topps "Rookie") | — |
| Bears total | 6 vet autos + 1 Flagship First auto + 2 relics = 9 hits |
The Seahawks counterweight. Seattle is the thin, top-heavy spot: 5 hits. There are 2 vet autos, Sam Darnold #177 and Jaxon Smith-Njigba #178, plus a Flagship First auto for Topps "Rookie" Jadarian Price and relics for Zach Charbonnet and Elijah Arroyo. Smith-Njigba did most of the work in the passing game: a 43-yard touchdown on a blitz with :30 left in the half (ChicagoBears.com, AP) and 118 receiving yards (ESPN). Darnold went 17 of 34 for 188 yards and two touchdowns, with the interception that set up Swift's third (AP). Kupp caught the other touchdown, but on this checklist he's base #248 and Golden Mirror only, with no hit row. In the same Hobby break, the Bears sheet feels like a full roster and Seattle's feels like a two-man bet.
